A Wrinkle in Time

Putting back things that were long gone from this time, ignoring the buildings ,and the new things put in there in place of the old. My subject matter was that of old pictures and the main subjects within them. The purpose of this series was to look at the old pictures as a whole, but also as individuals to see what made them the same, and at the same time see what made them unique. Some old pictures have this beauty to the wear and tear of them, while the new photos do not. Finding a mix of how these worked together was the true theme to this series. Photography can be defined as the art or practice of taking and processing photographs; but in reality it is so much more than that. Photography truthfully is the process of freezing a moment in time to be seen once again. Old photographs hold a key to the past, this photo series was meant to be a way to show how one may go about you can use this to unlock something that may have never been seen before. Taking old photos and placing the main subject into a modern day location shows the importance of the past along with how much the future is changing.
